Why might there be no email?
Not every profile has an available business email. Datalayer only returns business addresses that match the website domain of the person’s observed employer. Addresses for a subsidiary or a different company domain may be missed. The full person lookup still counts if no email is found. See how profiles work.What does the email check mean?
You may see catch-all mentioned. This means a domain can accept mail for many
addresses without confirming that a particular person’s mailbox exists. Datalayer
treats that result as uncertain.
Look at the check date, if one is available. Jobs and email addresses change.
Even a valid result does not prove current employment or ownership of a mailbox.
For developers
On person lookup, explicitly sendinclude: ["work_email"]. The response includes up to five matching addresses.
Read each address’s verification_status, checked_at and is_catch_all;
checked_at can be null.
